Paying Josh Smith is doing nothing but tying money into mediocrity. You cant build anything around him because you dont know what he will give you on any particular night. There is no defined role he is willing to stay within. He is going to have a 3 game stretch that makes you think he finally got it all together and then the next game he 2-7 from 3.

One of life's unsolved mysteries. To a man, I don't know one Hawks fan who misses Josh on the team & he does some of everything for you on the basketball court. It's just that his basketball IQ is so low all the time you'll never be productive with him long term if he's your main option or 2nd best player. Plus he bytches too much...to be honest I'm thrilled he's no longer a Hawk
