Yeah so have I, and it's still a ridiculous amount of music for one person to ever have.
It's not tho. Some artists have huge discographies, especially when including mixtapes & features. Wayne & Gucci for instance

Y'all do not know the history of the albums you find. You don't know if the album was ripped to a lossy format then up converted to a lossless format then down converted back into a lossy format. shyt is disgusting and sure it sounds just as disgusting.

Also streaming is impulsive, the shuffle mode of streaming is impulsive. It's quick, fast and easy when used with a playlist.

Streaming is a great option if you do not want to purchase compact discs. There is now a lossy and lossless streaming service that you can pay to use, these are options and I don't see the problem.

There are plenty of people who do not like to use their cell phones as music players. An iPod Classic or Touch can both play lossy and lossless formats. Becuase of that people prefer compact discs and rip them into any format they choose.

160GB music player filled with lossless audio still shyts on everything else, but today it's about being impulsive and convenient and also in today's world cell phones are the new "my buddies" so with that being said streaming is the wave.

Not to bash anyone that does, but just like to know the rationale behind it.:ld:

I have a 64gb ipod that i can stream for free and have the latest music seconds after it's out and if it's a certain track you don't have you can always google search it and have it streaming in under a minute.

So what's the point? :dahell:

You carry an iPod around? You serious fam? :dahell:

So Spotify means I can put the iPod in the bushes.

Downloading an album is effort. Go to website. Download. Unrar. Fire up iTunes. Plug in smartphone/iPod. Sync. Fight for space on iPod. I have over 300gb of music, some dope ish won't make the iPod too.

Spotify makes that seem archaic fam.Back in the day albums used to leak months in advance. Now it hits the e-streets on Friday - on Spotify Monday. Drake / Kendrick hit the Spotify streets same time as e-streets.I go into my smartphone / desktop app.. type in Kendrick - all of his discography is there.

Streaming services are just so convenient. So much choice. I know you must have an album or song in your head. Wake up and try to put it on your ipod before your leave to school/work or a trip. Spotify defeats that first world problem.

Also it has all of your music on all your platforms. Fire up Spotify on your work laptop - your music is there. New phone? Music is there etc.

You ever use Dropbox breh? It's like that.

What else would i use to listen to music in my car, CDs? :dahell:

And if you takes you that much effort to put an album onto itunes, you doing something wrong :usure:

Convenience and access to any artist of any genre any time for me. $12.99 is nothing for the enjoyment I get out of it. I don't download shyt anymore, it's great.

I used to use it free but got sick of ads and not being able to play specific songs. Been listening to heaps of soul and old hip hop lately :blessed:

I just can't do the streaming shiit, I'm stubborn. I can find music by myself, I'm a former wannabe dj who still gets a thrill "discovering" music.

All this streaming stuff is taking away the funnest part of being a music junkie
That Avi :wow:

Been running through season 1 of A Different World. Dwayne Wade missed out :mjcry:

I have a 64gig ipod touch plus spotify. I only use spotify when im looking for house music so I can make my mixes. Or I'll listen to albums that I don't want or never heard of. But I still buy albums from artists I like too. I use all the mediums.

never tried spotify ... but now I'm intrigued.

I generally stream pandora at the gym. I enjoy that enough to consider paying for the premium app -- mostly because commercials fukk up rhythm between sets (I'm ready to start again, but the ad makes me wait 30 more seconds).

So, I don't currently pay ... but I understand.
