Why Would Anyone Want To Live In NY?

U can live there on less... but to have a quality of life worth having, to me, I would need like 7 figures a year. And even with that, theres some shyt you just can't have. You cant have a half an acre of land within commuting distance of your job if you work in the 5 boroughs.... you cant have a relaxing commute... etc. etc. Quality of life there is abysmal.

@ this clown keep moving the goal post every time someone makes this thread. it was 250K, then 300K, then 500K, now atleast a millioin . less than 1% of nyc population even makes that but i guess adjusted for expenses and lifestyle you making 1 milli in the south right.

I moved from Miami to New York and it's the greatest city in the world. NY is just dope from the culture to the women to the nightlife. It's not for everybody but it is the center of the world and some people like the metropolis lifestyle. Places like Atlanta and Miami are boring unless you're clubbing and you have to drive to everything which is so spaced apart.

There's no city in this country with more to offer.

From resturants, to sporting events(all star, Super Bowl, us open, boxing ), concerts, festivals, beaches , boating, nightlife , culture, 24 hour access to everything, 3 major airports with direct flights everywhere, cruise terminals, shopping etc etc

Personally I take advantage of all of this and I am not rich, the trade off is cold ass weather maybe 1/3rd of the year and high rent... For me the Pros greatly outweigh the cons.I've lived in 2 other states and nothing compares to what this city has to offer..

If you don't value what NY offers om don't live here. Me I need everything at my fingertips

Thanks for putting limitations on what black people do.. But I was at the US open 2 weeks ago. And I used all star and Super Bowl as an example, we getting those back to back. Those are just examples of the caliber of events we get here on a consistent basis. Kinda like MTV awards and shyt like that .

And as far as concerts go. EVERY tour stops here, usually with multiple dates and we get shows that aren't part of tours. There's no city you can name with more concert options ..
Free concerts , I seem nas for free, summer stage. Then you got stores like a life doing free concerts. I seen school boy Q for free at this Adidas draft party concert. This month we got jay z performing in Central Park. It's goes on and on. Don't even act like you think iitd the same somewhere else when it comes to concerts
