Ignore the PC nerds, Mac is wonderful. What do you want to know?


For starters though, just about every program you can find on windows you can find on Mac

Mac's do not use the basic PC filenames

You can always partition or use a virtual window to run Windows if you want

Mac's interface is very user friendly but it's hard to modify like you could a PC... but because of that it's more secure


Just play around with it. It's like the Audi of computers...IMO

Yeah, play around with it first and then ask whatever questions pop up


I dip between both PC and Mac.... Mainly because my work (Network Admin) requires me to use Windows while I personally prefer to do EVERYTHING else on Mac... And usually I do. Schoolwork, Powerpoints, emails, Resume's, web-surfing, etc., all on Mac...




But I'm also kinda an apple fanboy too so


ps. If you buy or have an external, make sure it's compatible with both Mac and Windows simultaneously. Thats something I learned the hard way

On some real shyt, this is her first mac and she hasnt even used it enough to know how to find shyt on there.

We've been PC forever, and mac is a different animal, but the interface is so damn clean
