Irish people are as white looking as it gets, and Italians are still pretty white looking + white people have to claim them because Italy is an important part of European history.
Most Hispanics in the US do not identify as white in my experience, even if they look like Canelo Alvarez. Aside from that, The difference between them and any type of Europeans is that they generally have visible indigenous ancestry (or black in the case of the Caribbean ones).
