IMMIGRANT TETHERS
Will making that dumbass movie with his son after not being in anything for 4 years really killed his career. the catalyst to all his recent flops since 2012.

But alot of it has to not choosing better scripts. That movie with Margot Robbie and SQ are his only interesting films since 7 Pounds. Ain't nobody trying to go see a movie about the Williams sisters father. lets be real. Hell, even a William sister biopic wouldn't have been all that hot.

He never should have passed up on Django. Taratino probably would have made another classic with him. you know he loves to reuse actors for future movies.

How long are people going to keep using that as an excuse when we've seen other films have success in spite of it?

In this case, because it's a family/sports drama that gains literally nothing in the theater, not a big budget action flick with crazy landscapes and expansive action scenes.

Personally I don't have anything invested in box office #'s and don't care how much Will's movies make, just makes logical sense that this one wouldn't be a big theater hit at this time.

He should have just directed or produced it. Nobody trying to see Will in these type of slow drama movies and numbers prove it.

It made more than the French dispatch, the newest Wes Anderson movie with an ensemble cast with bill Murray/Adrien brody/timothee chalament/etc and more than last night in Soho by Edgar wright starring Anya taylor joy who still has big buzz.

And that's with it blowing up on Max and HBO now saying the majority of ppl watched it from beginning to back without pausing

Genuinely have no idea why you're tryna hate so hard on this movie/will, when it seems like it's doing incredibly well all things considered
