:patrice:I mean its a drama.....

:patrice:Its on HBO Max....

:patrice:Why would any sane person would go to a theater and see a flick of such a magnitude unless they are movie buffs, love Will Smith, loves the Williams sisters, or have a date.

I know its getting played out but we are still in a pandemic. There's countries that are still on lockdown and folks are still tripping about masks...the breaks:manny:

I swear people don't understand we're still in a pandemic
and it was on HBO Max that's how I saw it :francis:
I have HBO Max & didn’t even realize it was available to stream but went to see it in theaters last weekend. I like the movie experience especially in a great spot like IPIC Theaters.

It's a biographical drama so it's not going to make 200+ million at the box office even if it wasn't a dual release with HBO Max and the pandemic still going on.
Exactly.

Denzel did The Hurricane and only made 400k opening week. Smith’s Ali did $15M and that was about the larger than life Muhammad Ali without a pandemic and streaming options. $5.7M for an Oscar bait film during these times isn’t some major flop.
