Summertime will get ANY function or gathering poppin at any time of the year....regardless of race, age, etc. You'll hear that song at an all-white wedding of upscale yuppies in the dead of Winter, AND at a backyard BBQ on the block in the heart of Summer.

I've never heard anyone say "yeah, Summertime is the JOINT....but it's FEBRUARY so, yunno, I can't enjoy it as much."
