There are more outlets for rappers to make money now a days than in the 90s. I'm not just talking about making money off album sales. The potential for money is greater now.
Not really, record companies are taking more of that money when these dudes sign to majors. Also, hip hop is not producing the megastars it used to, lastly, most the guys in the top 10 (diddy, dre, jay, snoop, 50, etc) either have had decade plus careers and/or had key roles in successful record labels where they caked off others, and other bisiness ventures You don't see these types of labels anymore except for maybe MMG and YMCMB, and in their case, their role players don't push units and aren't popular enough for all the big money endorsements. Add that to the fact these new rappers have shorter longevity (at least as far as bing on the a list) I don't see it happening...

there probably will never be a hiphop billionaire. hiphop artists and producers sold it out. when hiphop started out it was hijacked by the zionists and they make the killing off hiphop now. ruthless and especially death row would be up there with the deals they made. that 50-50 they had was great. master p's deal was also a good deal but the machine destroyed these people and now there's hardly any real money to be made.
black labels and artists now sign shady deals designed to fail them.

50 cent will eventually be destroyed by the machine. the music industry is designed to be a 2-3 album career. afterh that the machine destroys them because with great success comes power and to them we can't have these niccas too powerful if they're not with us.

jay and beyonce are all down with the illuminati so they get the pass.

Music Producers/CEOs
Jimmy Iovine - Interscope - $700 Million
Ted Field - Interscope - $1.2 Billion
Doug Morris - Sony - $1.2 Billion
Thomas H. Lee Partners’ team - Warner Bros -$10 Billion

There's not enough money for rappers to be a billionaire just from music alone. They have to become CEOs and make good investments to see that type of money. Music in general doesnt make a lot of money. The real money is in media, retail, manufacturing and technology. Who make the most money, the artists that sells a lot of CDs or the man over the manufacturing of those CDs.

Yep. And they are basically married. Somethin tells me together they might have 300 mil. MAYBE

Eh, I doubt that. Baby and Slim were rumored to be millionaires back in the early 90's before Cash Money, and I seriously doubt Slim splurges the money he gets the way Baby does. And even regarding Baby, he'd probably be broke by now if he wasn't really doing it up like he says he is. I think Baby and Slim are rich from shyt outside of rap if you know what I mean, and that type of paper isn't going to be printed in Forbes.

that's not true. microsoft is a software company that makes more money than hardware companies. i know you're gonna come with a counter that this is different but what really made microsoft successful was bill gates's dad being a lawyer and advised him on how to set up his company.
a lot of these rap niccas are just street people with no clue how to set up deals. who ever the fuq they get to advise them sure isn't looking out for their interests. these cats get these jewish lawyers who got em confused.
at this point they've hijacked hiphop and black artists are outside looking at them eat off this rap sh1t.

dre should have never sold aftermath to interscope records. he'd be eating off eminem like michael jackson was eating off the beatles. i'm glad mj went to the grave with his masters fighting those dirtbags.

i bet everything that mac miller has a better deal on the low than any of the new guys.

I dont know what you are disagreeing with but yeah it helps to have money in the family. The offspring of these rappers will more than likely be billionaires in the future a few generations down the line. My point is, a billion is made from creating something that millions of people can utilize/buy on a daily basis. (i.e Facebook, Twitter)

it's not about having money. it's about understanding business and making the right deal for the artist and not the label.
