I don't even think it's possible. Part of the allure was mystique. Nowadays entertainers put their entire lives on social media. They just seem like regular people who are talented.

This.

Back then celebrities were bigger than life cause the only time you were able to see them is if you happen to catch them on TV (could wait around hours for a video to come up....no internet no dvr)

or seeing them in person which made them larger than life....and MJ was super private person interview were rare etc......no one will be able to maintain that privacy etc especially with social media

Nikka Chris brown not raw like that.

The closest answer is usher 8701-confessions era of course.:ehh:

Outside of that Mike has absolutely no equivalent. He is the alpha & Omega of what this entertainment sh!t is all about.:yeshrug:

Yep 8701-confessions era usher and justin Timberlake during the futuresex/LoveSounds era are the only two people that ever had popularity like MJ and even then those nikkas wasn’t close.

There will never be another mj

The parameters would have to be

Success as a child prodigy
Success as a teenage prodigy
World wide icon by the age of 25
Success in at least one film
Heavy overexposure without any messiness before having a groundbreaking/gamechanging media release (possibly music)

Multifacited artist and songwriter

& as a sweetener they'd have to be a workaholic musician like prince was JUST to get over the stigma that Micheal had against him for a majority of his career.

... oh also break color barriers in various forms of media & challenge the status quo of whatever form of media they dominate.

If they can do that then they'll match his level.

It won't be a Kpop or Rap artist either ... itll come from whatever subgenre is popular in 10 to 15 years.

Yes. Because he'll be Michael Jackson.

The reboot.

They're going to clone him and give him a new origin story and he'll be the world's most famous person from birth. And like MJ the most controversial. Some fans will embrace him others won't. "He's not the real Michael!!" There will be big legal matters surrounding MJ's catalog and people will wonder if he'll ever get to perform the classics.

This all assumes he actually develops into the entertainer, but he'll have everything at his disposal to reach that level of talent.

Most of his content will exist of this subject matter.

It'll be decades before the Jackson family forgives Jermaine for doing this.
