White men ain't voting against Trump regardless of whether it's in their best interests or not financially. White women don't have a backbone, they vote with their husbands.

The only chance is if runs because he checks a lot of the same Trump boxes but is a lot smarter and some working class whites from the rust belt might ride with him.

2016 was mostly to do with race quite obviously. These middle of the road everyday cacs got scared and insecure with in office. It's funny because Obama didn't even go hard he played it safe.. but playing it safe was enough for them to go crazy. They got scared about what America might look like without them controlling everything, so they went back to what they do best.
