Cory Booker would be a bad choice. I actually thought he was a standout in late 2016, early 2017 but he doesn't have it. He doesn't have Obama's charisma, swagger or charm. A lot of times he just comes off as angry which will turn away voters. I'm confident he wouldn't even win the primary.

The one Democrat (besides old ass Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden) that I thought legit could beat Trump was Senator Al Franken. But they (the female Senate Democrats) made sure to force him out of the Senate over the sexual harassment stuff. I think they forced him out (besides optics) because they knew he had the best chance of beating them in the primary and they wanted the stage for themselves. Former comedian that still had a sense of humor and charismatic.

Nah fam. Booker can adapt. Dude was based in Newark, NJ, which is racist CAC central. In many ways, that alone is adequate prep for how to deal with White people on a national level. And you're really not appreciating how charming Booker can be. He has the people's touch.

Yes. Trump will get a 2nd term. The fact of the matter is he has been embroiled in enough bullshyt to get impeached already and yet he remains unscathed. He has the support of the Tea Party racist and the rest of the moderate Republicans basically fear him. The Democrats have no new blood in this upcoming election cycle and won't until 2024 at best. And even so it doesn't matter, he gets 2 more Supreme Court picks at minimum before his term is up anyway. The man is teflon.

The fact that people are lowballing him is a symptom of his lack of charisma. I remember the 2008 election, the mere mention of the name Obama would bring tingles to people, no homo . People were excited about the possibility of him being president. Booker doesn't elicit that level of excitement in people.
