Wisdom Tooth Unappreciation Thread

So this week, my wisdom tooth thought it would be a good time to start growing. It was painful at first, but today it was absolutely unbearable. I could have I've tried Orajel, aspiring, everything with no success. The only thing that helps is cold water. So now I gotta stay up all night until I see a dentist tomorrow. I'm hoping I can see an oral surgeon the same day I just wanna kill myself. I'm literally sitting here holding cold water in my mouth.

Get them shyts out ASAP. I'm telling without exaggeration, this is easily the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.

all 4 of mine came in by the time i was 24. it didnt hurt that bad and i have room on my jaw for them
but if i could have gotten them out, i would have
4 less teeth to floss that are hard to get to

Breh why? They tried pulling my wisdom teeth out while I was awake and after a couple of pulls I said fuk this.

They ended up rescheduling me for a week later, but that time they put me under. I have a high threshold for pain except when it come to my teeth.

Insurance wouldn't cover general anesthesia unless it was medically necessary, I would've needed a note from my doctor stating that I had some condition that would require to be under for the procedure.

They covered local anesthesia, so it was about $170 out of pocket. To have them put me under it would've been a stack.

I have a high threshold for pain too.

Even when the surgeon came in he went:

Surgeon: So we're getting all 4 out today

Me: Yeah

Gave me about 6 injections in my mouth, waited about 15, came back and did another 6 to numb me up. Shots weren't bad at all

They did the top left, came out pretty simple, I'm like , this isn't gonna be bad. When they started working on that impacted one next though, I went . He had trouble getting it out, could see and feel him moving around trying to get that bytch out, telling me to keep pushing my head back so he wasn't lifting my head. Had to have him stop so I can get a little break. Then he brought out the drill The drill didn't cause much pain, it was just the noise that made it bad, I had my iPod in and playing, but the noise of it grinding against my teeth was just.

The other top one was quick, but the last one was partially impacted and sideways and was like the other bottom one.

They finished, said I was done, out the office a couple minutes later.

If I had the choice, I'd probably do it again, definitely much easier to be asleep for both you and the surgeon, but I'm not bout to pay a grand to get some teeth pulled.

I still go everytime I hear about wisdom teeth. I was the lucky one to have FIVE wisdom teeth growing up. Not only that, the 2 on the bottom were growing perpendicular to the rest, so all of them had to go.

The 3 on top they gave me local anesthesia to numb it. Of course, the dentist gave me that usual speech that I'll barely feel it, so at first, I thought it was just Novocaine on the gums, but once he brought out

I went from to . The -ass sadistic motherfukker must've shot me on the roof of my mouth about 16 times and was probably after every one, and left a nikka straight on the chair while he took the teeth out out.

I was like when they put me to sleep for the bottom row, but for like 4 days after the surgery, I could only eat creamed corn n drink tea the whole time cuz of the gauze in my mouth.

It's not strong enough. It will work for like 3 minutes, and the pain would come back.

That cold water shyt was annoying and I said fukk it. The minute after I stopped was fukking hell brehs, I was literally on the floor in pain. After that it got a lot better but I still don't know if I'm getting any sleep tonight brehs.

Oh. It worked for me. I used a lot of it and kept re applying when it began to wear off.

breh I got all 4 pulled in late December and i wont lie to you, the shyt was barbaric and painfull. Prolly the worst shyt I had to deal with and I was awake for the whole thing. When I left the dentist office I felt like my brain was about to explode from all of the pain. I needed to get them puled because I;m getting braces soon but I dont wish that wisdom tooth pain on anyone, real talk. I wound up taking a ton of Tylenol Extra Strength because the codene wasnt doing shyt for me. But just being in the dentist office and seeing the tools they were using was crazy. The bloody mess on the tray they keep the tools on afterwards was crazy too. Never again.
