thats what im saying. something is off. im a gamer, but it appears ive missed something somewhere along the line. I was supposed to look for baron's wife but i declinded, did I miss a power up there? it was the first mission I declined I just wanted to see what would happen, and he never asked me to find his wife again, so now i know you may not get the option again if you decline.

upgrading gear? you mean like the sword? I upgraded the armor, im using thunderbolt potion (which barely does a thing), I looked up the nekker weakness but im not really sure how to get the ingredients for the potion.

anyways i skipped walked around those fools and met up with the witch, but i did youtube what was up with them and apparently you should kill them and get some special ingredients from them....when i youtubed the fight, dude on youtube ran through them within 2 min. so yea, its my witcher thats weak, just not sure WHERE he's weak. I tried to buy a new sword and they're all 1 level anyways, I dont see anything that would do much damage outside of what I already have.

i guess i just gotta do side mission or something.

A couple more things....

1. Make sure your weapons aren't broken. They can break. You can get them fixed at a Blacksmith or use little kits to fix them. If they're broken that will severely affect the damage they do.

2. When you upgrade an ability, make sure you equip it in a slot. It's not like most RPGs where you can upgrade something and automatically use it, you gotta manually place it in a slot so it's active.

Witcher 3 doesn't do any of these things better than Fallout 4...

Witcher 3 is a game that did a promo talking about how they tackle real world issues like racism...and then every character in the game is white...

Fallout 4 is a game that gives you a choice of simulating the underground railroad...and then it actually lets you pick the race of the two most important people associated with those quest...and then it lets you choice what side of the story you want to be on...and even goes so far as to force you to kill the other side...

One of these things is good story telling...one of these things isn't...

And I am pretty sure Witcher 3 won game of the year because Fallout 4 hasn't even been out a full month yet...How could Fallout 4 even be nominated?

When did Witcher 3 even come out...in the spring?

The fact people are comparing a game that came out 6 months ago to a game that hasn't even been out 6 weeks speaks volumes about both of these games...

I was a Witcher stan all the way up until 3...I doubt I ever play another Witcher game again...

OP doesn't take the time to read the tutorials. Doesn't explore on his own. Too lazy to try to do anything other than the minimum, then complains about his character being weak. Why are you already at Keira and only level 4? You should still be in the first town doing notice board quests and trying to get a starter gwent deck up

Witcher 3 was just to boring to me...

My most hyped game of the year and I just stopped playing it because it started feeling like such a chore...combat just boils down to parrying dodging and using igni...i need more than that if I am investing dozes of hours in a game

Fallout 4 is so much better..I probably put at least 60 hours into my first two playthroughs and I am already scheming up a character build for another one...

I don't even have Witcher 3 over DAI...

You said it's a bunch of fetch quests and you know where it's going. It's not, and you don't. But you don't care enough to find that out so


The region you're in is the equivalent of Europe in the middle ages. There's a whole other region (Zerrikania) that has different races. You meet them in "Hearts Of Stone".

yea but the main characters are all white, idk if that plays into why I also felt disconnected from the game but I gave this game a good two 15 hours and just never cared to play it again, I really wanted to like it but it fell short before all the exciting stuff yall speak of ever happened.. I fell in love with fallout immediately.. Why cant yall just admit every game isn't for everybody, all that high fantasy shyt isn't for everyone and isn't always interesting..

This is the game of thrones of video games, yes the story is great and occasionally you get a good action scene, but its too slow, I cant even create my own character im stuck playing with some old white guy...
