Without ATLANTA, Hip Hop is dead

i'm actually warming up to the new atlanta stuff in drips and drabs but they can't sustain a whole tape. and it isn't hip hop. that's actually a complement. atlanta created a new genre. dont call it hip hop though.

the movement of:

j futuristic
LA
dro
rich kids

plus, a few more were making a new genre.
yet, future came in and regulated the innovation back into regular trap.
when, future should have been trying to spearhead a movement for their own thing.
similar, to his dungeon family roots.
like those with impact in the grassroots of atl before and during his boom.
with his just base level assimilation into trap music.

the once brilliant, vibrant idea of what could have been is over with, now.

when future regulated himself and the possible unnamed genre into just trap.
he took years off the draw for atl.
plus, took a massive amount of dollars out of his pocket on the outkast level.
where he would have been bulletproof to criticism.
yet, future just wants to be a regular or same ol same ol.
that doesn't really bode well for his future.

Yet still it sounds nothing like anything Nelly released or T-Pain for that matter..and its infinitely better, fresher, and more innovative than anything released out of New York the past 7 years

the idea that they want to use autotune to make a melodic flow.
when, it is obvious after rich homie quan without autotune.
is just a wack rapper, who needs Sharon apple based computer semantics to make noise.

all those dudes are wannabe bizzy bone/fellowship/domino/nelly, and failed to be nelly.
as nelly actually had the vocal tonality/melody/convincability, and ability.
to do what they are attempting and have failed to do.
if they did not have a computer program and/or a tv track when performing, backing them.

not to mention,..
they are not even smart enough.
to do what peter Frampton, or zapp/roger would do.
which is bring the rig with them on the road.
when, it is nuffin but a laptop based software program.
not a huge analog based piece of machinery they made.
or innovated/invented themselves like Frampton, and zapp/roger made.

so, they are stooped, two times.....

you really can not say that either.
as, none of the production from atl.
has produced as large of grassroots original hits as, J. Epperson.

if nelly had used Epperson and not abandoned him as a lead single.
in favor of pharrell's hot in here.
then, came back with the rnb based sweat and suit.
that nullified his diamond make my own melody based draw from his first album.

nelly would still actually draw higher than guys in atl.

not to mention,..
if we check the numbers...
nelly's country foray may actually outdraw most of the atl stuff, in volume, too.
maybe you can go look it up.
since you think you know nelly's sound more than people who were exactly cognitive.
when, nelly went diamond twice, with Eminem.

Atlanta has ran hip hop because it's the only place that supports it local artist.
Honestly Atlanta produce the worst hip hop in the south.

this. And they got the infrastructure to help. Not saying everything that comes out ATL is garbage, but they do a good job at hyping up some wack shyt and eventually making it hot.

where are your new, artist who are making records that are so innovative.

this record is pretty much the bitten blueprint for the late nineties.
to all the two thousands that has a big band sound.
on top of the fact,...
shawty red and drama supposedly worked together on this record.
when, all the atl shyt that comes out now.
is a hypmotize ripoff, all together.

without hypmotize and shawty red,....
atl, in this gen...
really does not have a leg to stand on, after thoomp.
nor, does it have a sonic direction to know what to make, either.
as all the music from atl,..is a shawty red lifted beat.
unless someone thinks they are smart and tries to use a triple6.
or a grass roots little known nationally atl, or texas based sonic lift from the swishahouse era.
of which,....it really is not many that take that chance at all.

If it wasn't for L.A. Reid and Babyface with LaFace Records ATL wouldn't be where they are now.

if they had not of robbed the local and national landscape, via poor contracts and point dispersal.
they would still be dominant, and there would be no rap movement at all.
besides kast, and whatever offshoot they felt like dealing with.

we don't have a new Chicago artist in the mainstream....
that is as technically gifted as a writer with content as Gucci.
on top of most of the stuff,...
that gets gateway traction is all a lift of future/yc's racks.

if Chicago got behind more of the smoke'n ride artist who populate outwest.
it could possibly find its new gangsta rap draw that had traction.
instead of piggy backing off of being a soldier boi admin based a&r project.
as out west has its own culture, and actualized urban landscape to provide something new.

i said its the worst major city in hip-hop HISTORY.
