It's an unconventional team, but they got shooters:Zone that team and them nikkas is lost![]()
Anderson
Holiday
Gordon
Morrow
Hell even Babbit
That should be enough to get them by.

He's hit or miss. He's a lot like Keith Smart and I hated that dude.Shame they still have Monty Williams for a coach
Uhh ... well now they have a 2015 1st they can package with him
Lin is an expiring folks, hes not some unmovable long term contract. Morey is creative enough to move him if needed
Unless the NBA GMs around the league wont to cockblock him from being able to land Melo or Bron, then he can easily move Lin
No reason not to go after him again, it was just a mere example of what they could have instead of paying out for Asik. Pelicans hustling backwards with this move, they moved a 5 on a low salary to strengthen their backcourt, only to then fill the void next to AD with an overpriced, one dimensional rental. They HAD Lopez

Would be a very interesting subplot , not sure if anything like that has been done in sportsyeah i agree with your last sentence, i can see teams not wanting to deal so HOU doesnt load up

Thats a VERY good point and something I was mentioning in the AD thread from earlier todayTrick Trick gonna be @ the Pelicans home opener to let nikkas know the league is on a "no fly zone" list
Getting Asik is going to allow Davis to roam on defense, that's scary....
Wonder how much reporting of Asik's poor attitude and willingness to quit on the team will happen.

Source confirms the Rockets will receive the first round pick from Pelicans next year if it is between 4-19. That's huge.
Don't get me wrong, he's a great compliment to AD, but they traded a pick for a rental. They clearing all this space, for a position they don't really need - and only the MLE for the 3-spot which they desperately need. By the time it's time to re-up, they gonna be back to square one. It's not a bad trade, just a rather pointless one.The Pelicans been hustling backwards since they traded Noel for Holiday, they should have kept Lopez but I can't think of a better true 5 on the free agency market than Asik.
