Bag in Kentucky or bag in Los Angeles. Of course the wife would move to Los Angeles with a bag rather than having a bag in Kentucky with nothing to do.
we know college athletics is a dirty game but if Hurley really does leave the shyt he pulled with Alex Karaban would be one of the dirtiest moves I've seen from a college coach in a minute

Hurley was just saying last week that Karaban had multiple promises in the 2nd round for guaranteed contracts, plus the Celtics would potentially take him with their last pick in the first round and was going back and forth on the decision but ultimately decided to withdraw on deadline day on the 29th because Hurley was selling him on a bigger role and the offense would go through him to help boost his stock. if dude left 1 week after that that shyt is crazy to me.If it's true that the Lakers offered him 5 years at 18M guaranteed... man, yeah he did them kids dirty but I understand. He's tripling his salary. If it doesn't work in the NBA he'd have his choice of college gigs. It's a no-brainer.
Did Hurley or his agent know the Lakers were interested before that? If so - yeah, he did the kid dirty. Still.... hard to say no to 90 milHurley was just saying last week that Karaban had multiple promises in the 2nd round for guaranteed contracts and was going back and forth on the decision but ultimately decided to withdraw on deadline day on the 29th because Hurley was selling him on a bigger role and the offense would go through him to help boost his stock. if dude left 1 week after that that shyt is crazy to me.
Woj is claiming that Hurley has been their top target for the beginning but that timeline doesn't make sense to meDid Hurley or his agent know the Lakers were interested before that? If so - yeah, he did the kid dirty. Still.... hard to say no to 90 mil
I feel like it’s going to be a bit before we have a rigid timeline…seems like no one, even Lakers insiders, had this story outside of Woj. And most of the Lakers beat swear Redikk was the guy for weeks.Did Hurley or his agent know the Lakers were interested before that? If so - yeah, he did the kid dirty. I think he would need to be there at least past Bron and AD’s tenure to get his type culture in place, and that’s probably gonna come with some down years…you usually don’t get too many of those with LAL as a coachI agree with what Cowherd said about this situation. Laker fans don't have the patience to go through Hurley's process of building greatness. Look at how they treat Lebron, who won them a championship in his 2nd year with the Lakers and Pau Gasol after going to three straight Finals and winning back to back titles with the Lakers. You think people like that are going through Hurley's process of culture change?![]()

LeBron is a different story because of the Kobe fans dislike for him and his fans. And Pau got plenty of love. And the fans were willing to sit through the years with Tank commander Scott, the young pups and Luke Walton. We still have fans to this day that think we should’ve kept the young players and not traded for ADI agree with what Cowherd said about this situation. Dan may even request that this remains cloudy to save his ass. I assume Woj is getting his info directly from someone like Pelinka or a Rambis, so Dan could just ask that of them
Per LA Times writer Dan Woike, the Lakers are in "no rush" with their coaching search, and while there is a strong possibility that Redikk ultimately gets the job, his representatives and the Lakers have not had conversations about contract details. This would be Redikk's first coaching job.
