WTF, who is this mutha fukka? Phil Jackson or some shyt :dahell:
You gotta entice him to leave UConn where he's a god, move cross country and take a job where your security is at best 'okay'. With the new media deal money coming in, I get it from the Lakers' viewpoint - though I don't think it's a great fit in general on both sides.

Thats a lot of money to invest in someone with no proven track record in the NBA.

The cacs on social media are super hyping up this dude.

I hope he is successful but I don't think he's a basketball savant like these cacs think.

Not sure if this is going to work with LeBron. He doesn’t like White men in positions of power around him coaching wise. Just check his track record.

Really he can’t be coached. What is Hurley going to do with LeBron when he blows off his huddle? Blows off his playcalls? Checks himself into the games and subs out who he wants at will? None of that is going to change with Bron going into year 22.

I remember David Blatt being just as renowned as Hurley is 10 years ago and Bron came in an showed total disregard for him…wouldn’t run his plays…would sub out players that Blatt himself put out there and even got physical shoving him around and shyt.

Treated Blatt like a straight janitor and Blatt literally was seen as a coaching Messiah prior to hopping to the Cavs

If Hurley is really trying to get to the Lakers he’d better hope he can do what no white coach has done before and that’s connect with LeBron on a level that he respects. If not he’s about to go through the same ringer. And he’d better check that ego because Bron has unprecedented power and they’ll try to make Hurley’s life a living hell before it’s all said and done
Bron didn't have issues with Luke or Vogel. Blatt also had a full season before the mid season firing in Year 2 I don't know changed to make Bron tune him out. But you're overplaying the race aspect.

which ones? seems like it was Shams and other national writers pumping this up.

A few days ago an LA Times writer said the Lakers and Reddikk weren't even talking numbers yet. Maybe Hurley was who they wanted all a long but had JJ as a plan B.

I know Anthony Irwin has been on that beat for a minute. I think he’s been the most vocal from my feed, but Lakers Nation podcast also thought Reddikk was the guy
