no,youre looking at it all wrong

you can go over the cap to resign the big 3 so you sign all your role players(and Melo) first to fill out the roster then you resign the big 3

Miami could spend 30 mill on UFAs if they wanted to.They just have to sign them first

Bron,Wade,Bosh, and Haslem will be signed last because they can go over the cap to resign those guys so the plan should be to spend around 30ish mill to fill out the roster then spend around 50 to resign the big 3 and Haslem

Arison isn't paying luxury tax though they will be a 3 time repeater tax penalty they would have

Im amazed at how you bytch ass nikkaz are lobbying for the Heat to be a stacked team. 2 stars and role players should be enough and it would keep a competitive balance, but NOOOOOOOOO, you deflectors of p*ssy want 3 star players, 4 future hall of famers and 3 all stars to fill out the roster.

why are u always so angry nikka? sheesh....we understand that you wish it was your team making these moves...but it's life nikka....deal with it or start criticizing all these great teams from the past...

Ever since LeBron commented on Miguel Cabrera's contract, I know he was going to want max.
His problem is he's clearly a great player but he can't carry a team to a championship on his own. Him needing both Bosh and Wade there eat up too much of the salary cap on 3 players. If they could drop one of those guys and have the other one be Pippen to his Jordan maybe they could spread more money around to more players and put together a better supporting cast. As it stands with all three of them assembling a worthwhile team behind them is too difficult. The eastern conference is so weak they'll almost always make it out of there but when they run into the west winner who's gonna be more balanced and battle tested and they will likely fold.

The Heat are forced to rely on older players or guys coming off injury or some ringless guy who's desperate and willing to take less money to make a run at a championship. Young guys in their prime who can get better deals aren't gonna take pay cuts to play there.

The Heat are gonna have to let Bosh go if they have any hopes of signing Lebron. They can't improve the roster if both of them are on the team.

I ain't a Stan or a heat hater but if they bringing these 3 back and signing free agents like Lowry or ariza, they ain't winning the championship. Lebrons best bet is probably to go to a team with more talent already

yeah at this point Bosh would command more money than a banged up Wade. Still if they let Bosh go they're taking another step back and will have to get back to the level they were with Bosh. That doesn't make them better than they were this past season, probably worse.

Those three guys can't be on the same team unless somebody sacrifices a lot of pay. LeBron it the optimal candidate as he probably makes more off endorsements than off his NBA contract and if he's not willing to do it them somebody has to go.
