His problem is he's clearly a great player but he can't carry a team to a championship on his own. Him needing both Bosh and Wade there eat up too much of the salary cap on 3 players. If they could drop one of those guys and have the other one be Pippen to his Jordan maybe they could spread more money around to more players and put together a better supporting cast. As it stands with all three of them assembling a worthwhile team behind them is too difficult. The eastern conference is so weak they'll almost always make it out of there but when they run into the west winner who's gonna be more balanced and battle tested and they will likely fold.

The Heat are forced to rely on older players or guys coming off injury or some ringless guy who's desperate and willing to take less money to make a run at a championship. Young guys in their prime who can get better deals aren't gonna take pay cuts to play there.

Very few win it on their own.

Ironically Dallas in 2011 was probably the last one and before that the 94 Rockets.

Wade was averaging 16 and Bosh was averaging 13 in the 2013 playoffs. You could make the case that last year's finals...he DID win it on his own (as the only star)

He needs to be Jordan in his prime. One main side kick and a bunch of solid role players around them. Instead he's got two side kicks and between the three of them the cap gets murdered. Everybody wants a decent amount of money and it limits the team. Like I said somebody has to give up a bit if they wanna win.

Bron is handicapping his team if this max contract shyt is true. He obviously needs more help, but again if this is true its looking like the money is more important than the rings to him. He clearly deserves to be the highest paid player in the game, he's the best hands down. BUT that'll also limit the teams options and he knows that. He better do whats best for business or he can accept the team he has and maybe not see another ring at least not this year.

But I'm not saying anything we don't already know :sas2:

His problem is Bosh and Wade taking up max space without providing anywhere near max impact. Wade is always hurt and getting more and more flabby by the minute and Bosh is soft. Have you actually been watching? He has been on his own. :heh: He's been Mr. Everything while Wade sits out or plays inconsistent as fukk and while Bosh does his Steve Kerr impression. This team would actaully be better with Pippen and Grant or Pippen and Rodman.

I aint mad at lebron for wanting the max but it looks like his ambitions will break up miami which is good for chicago and unless he goes to the clippers or spurs he won't be winning any rings in the foreseeable future.

Lowkey, you're one of the biggest LeBron polemicists on this board. :mjpls:

Breh everybody is a Bron/Kobe polemicist on this board. :heh: It's a lot of comp out there. I'm one of the few that keep it real and rolls with facts and reality and logic over my own preferences and desires though. :ehh:

Chicago would be better off if he stays in Miami. If he does leave South Beach, it'll just be for a stronger/younger/deeper n/h squad.

it will also be in the west where the chances of them going to the finals decreases significantly being out there than the east

Cleveland are still on the board.

he isn't going back there no matter how good the sentiment is.

Sources tell me that lebron hasn't forgotten the way cavs owner treated and chastised him on his way outta time. From what i'm being told is lebron has privately told people "no chance in hell" on his potential return to cleveland.

Lebron always talks about how much of a historian and how much he respects the history of basketball. Does he even know that MIchael Jordan in his first 11 years was making between 2-4 million dollars annually? He only hit his big pay days his last 2 seasons in chicago. Jordan along with Pippen took less to sacrifice for the good of the team and it paid off for them. Lebron seems to be driven by greed and his ego won't allow him to take less for the good of his team.
