KAty Purry and I are outliving Mr. P and living life in the fanciest of retirement homes...or even at sea.... thinking of retiring on a cruise ( it’s actually a lot cheaper, I booked a lot of these back in the day, they usually book a 28 or 56 day cruise, stay at kids house for a week or two and bounce again)

Yup, men too. Some of these mommy message boards will open up a lot of people's eyes to how a lot of parents hate being parents. They wanted kids and the whole family dynamic but once reality hit, it's a lot and there's no going back. They will say it out loud in those private groups etc but mask it with a lot of vices in real life.


This is why I never look at a mom or dad and think, they've got this parenting thing down to a science. Looks can be very deceiving. As an only child who grew up in a two parent household, I saw it firsthand how my parents juggled me with their jobs and other personal issues. I can't imagine if I had siblings. I'm not a parent but I know it's a hard ass job with no days off.
