My worse job was working at a chicken plant across town. I had to be there by 3:24pm and if we got off at 11:30pm, then that was a early night. It wasn't just working there that made it bad, but my schedule of going to school and going there. I put damn near 100 miles on my car almost every day. I didn't get in the bed until about 1:30am and then back up again at 6:30am. I was in school sometimes until 2pm then drive to take another friend of mine home because he had a eye condition that because of that he couldn't drive. It was really miserable.
Then I was working with people from work release. Working with illegals that barely spoke English. Then my actual job was to sort frozen chickens by size off of a conveyor belt. At least they was already wrapped but they was in a chamber that froze them and made them hard as bricks. You had to have on 3 layers of gloves to keep your hands from hurting. Then if you had to use the restroom, you couldn't just leave, you had to wait for someone to take your place. Then our a$$hole supervisor had a card that would clock out the entire department because he would get a bonus at the end of the month. We was looking at our checks and wondering why we worked 45-46 hours but our checks was right at 39.5 or 39.75 hours.
It made me mad and then the old lady that he would have swipe the card was off that week and he asked me to swipe it. The 1st day I did it and I didn't know what it was, then one of the old heads told me what the card was for and so for the rest of the week when he asked me to swipe it, I would act like I did and I really didn't. That was the fattest check that we had got because we ended up getting like 48 hours since we got overtime. He asked me did I swipe it right and acted like I didn't know any better.
Then you had the people on work release there. The female workers was selling p*ssy in the bathrooms on their breaks or fukking people in their cars after work when they was waiting on the prison van to pick them up. People would still your lunch if your department was the one of the last to go to lunch. I worked there for a good 7 months and finally left from up there. But I was miserable because my parents didn't see me until the weekend because I didn't get home until they was asleep and didn't wake up until they was already gone to work.
