:umadduncan: Not if I neg you first.

I still consider MJ to be one of the top 3 players ever.
But Lebron James has a very strong case to push his way into that conversation.

All I'm saying is, the discussion is worth having.
NOT REALLY....Bron is the greatest athlete in the history of the NBA but Jordan was a winner everytime he reached the Finals and got it done and REALLY should of won 8 str8 Finals.

Are you saying Rookie Bron is better than Rookie Jordan or today's Bron is better than Rookie Jordan?

Today's lebron James would be better than today's MJ.

Personally speaking, I don't believe lebron James was the best rookie in his class that year. Carmelo was robbed that year.

Bron is not the greatest athlete in the history of the NBA. That is just more hyperbole from current generation fans. The NBA has always had a bunch of freak athletes.

Wilt Chamberlain is probably the most freakish athlete that the NBA ever had. The dude was a track and field athlete. He was "7'1" and 275 pounds.

Forget the stats for a minute.. I was watching some rookie MJ highlights..

Has anybody ever displayed this kind of skill as a rookie? Jesus! The move he put on Bernard king at 8:22 was :scust:
I cant believe MJ was this good coming out of college.

Would you put rookie MJ over Steph and Bron? Where would he rank?

Harden averaged those numbers on an identical eFG% and didn't even make an all NBA team:yeshrug:

So no:manny:

Are we talking about the rookie versions of these players?

Rookie melo was better than rookie Lebron so why is he even being compared to Jordan ?

To be fair....Pop was a Ray Allen 3 away from pulling off a chip with the strategy of....."let Lebron shoot jumpers".....:yeshrug:.

A Ray Allen 3 and an all-time great 4th quarter comeback led by Lebron that was the only reason the Heat were in that position.

He then followed that up with one of the best game 7 performances of all time.

4th qtr comeback that was almost derailed by 3 straight turnovers by Bron???

MJ been had game since the early 80s kicking legends in the ass. The way he was going at niccas 30 years ago and still being considered the GOAT all these years later is bananas. Bird, Magic, LeBron, Kobe, Duncan, Kareem, Wilt, Jerry West, Pistol Pete and all the greats were/are bad ass but MJ is just fukking amazing.
