Would to take a new job or promotion for more money knowing you will miss football on the weekend?

Last job I had where I worked weekends was 2002. Work at a Walmart distribution center in VA for 9 months Saturday - Sunday 12 hour shifts. Cowboys sucked back then so I didn't give a shyt

I don't see taking the job as a long term career move and would probably leave in 6 months. But at the same time job offers like this are hard to get as a black man with a Muslim name living in Jew/Italian CAC territory. Freedom is important to me. The money is a good look but time is something you don't get back. At my age I should take it. I still don't know though. It's going to be a long night

That's a big increase in pay, this is why we have streaming and phones for, plus you can always DVR the games.

I dont think a lot of people realize how fukked up a 3pm - 11pm schedule is. I wouldnt even take the job based solely on that. Add on working every weekend with that bullshyt and its a definite no go.

That sounds miserable.....

You mess around and waste half your day sleeping, never seeing the sunlight.....missing out on any type of social life. Horrible.

I respectfully declined. I tried to negotiate the days of and they was like at what we offering u take what we give u. So I was like and walked away. fukk it. Can't miss what I didn't make.
