i hear you and i can't front on rza's run at at all
but let's think about this for a second
dre did the world class wreckin' crew, straight outta compton, eazy duz it, nikkaz4life, no on can do it better, 100 miles and runnin' ep, the chronic, doggystyle and then 2001, eminem's albums (produced on and or executive produced) 50's shyt, and even helped out a bit with kendrick's shyt
3 decades damn near 4 now with his recent work with kendrick
ye was largely influenced by the rza but dre as well too. ye wrote and spoke on dre's influence in rolling stone magazine a while back
"The Chronic is still the hip-hop equivalent of Stevie Wonder's
Songs in the Key of Life. It's the benchmark you measure your album against if you're serious. But it's "Xxplosive," off
2001, that I got my entire sound from — if you listen to the track, it's got a soul beat, but it's done with those heavy Dre drums. Listen to "This Can't Be Life," a track I did for Jay-Z's
Dynasty album, and then listen to "Xxplosive." It's a direct bite."
