That’s what one of my associates does and I told her she need to ask for more pay. I told him she really making 52k a year with no overtime pay. He be working 11 hours a day 5 days a week and that’s not including commute time which is about 30 min each way. Some weeks she works 6 days a week. Managing a car wash. Dude be tired all the time and hates his job. When I broke down his time traveling and spending at work by the hourly rate he just looked at me like

Salary is different from hourly. If you agree to be paid 90k a year for a certain type of work, that’s how much you’re paid. You’re not supposed to calculate the hours actually being worked.

I’m a truck driver and most of us work 11 to 14 hours a day depending on your position (OTR,LTL,food delivery,line haul etc) so it depends i have no problem working 6am to 6pm or 7am to 7pm as long as my commute is short and honestly back in my warehouse days I always worked 10 to 12 hours it isn’t that bad as long as I got my weekends off I was cool
