Wouldn't it make sense to save your own proselytizing against religion for those types that try to come to your door and convert you and leave discreet, practicing religious people to do what they choose to do?
Getting mad at the nikka annoying you about "have you met my lord and savior?!?" but to be so hostile at people who just want to worship or believe in something that gives them their own peace is kind of crazy.
Also, in 2018, the fact that the Sun is clearly just a cog in the overall gravitational pulls of the black hole at the center of the galaxy as well as all of the other forces acting on each other, it wouldn't really make sense to worship the Sun, honestly.
