Man is this a surprise to anybody anymore? We all know these star players in college are getting money from these boosters.
One of my best friends growing up through middle school winded up going to school with a 5 star recruit who currently plays in the NFL and they became really good friends. He used to tell me stories of how whenever dude had a good game he would come back to his dorm and an envelope full of money would be slid under his door. And this school hasn't EVER won a championship. I can only imagine what's going on at these SEC schools right now.

Man y'all aint even address the worse part of the article. Which was the part about Auburn coaches trashing Darwin Adams rep to NFL scouts b/c he wouldnt return for his senior year. To me that shyt was foul, its like all he did for the school and they fukked up his NFL chances in return 
. If I was a recruit there aint no money they could pay me to go there after reading that.
They were even keeping these nikkas failed drug tests to use against them as well.

The coaches that did all of that aren't even there anymore, but if the AD/admin knew about it and did nothing, I'd agree.
which goes back to my point that the coaches have it made. imagine being the AD and knowing that all of that was happening, but you can't be the guy that snitches on your own coach and players only months after they won the NC. ESPECIALLY in a football state like Alabama, where Bama and Auburn are their only major teams.
Only thing I see wrong is they need to be sliding these dudes more money and gifts under the table. $400?
It's dirty and corrupt shyt but it's intriguing and the players are benefiting in a small way. Enjoy the games.
Why would they give them more? It does enough to keep them complacent.
Isn't this the same reasoning they used to call Michael Vick and the dogfighting people sick? They invest in them as long as it's useful, send them on their way when it's done.

Honestly, I don't get what these guys expect to gain from snitching? If you go through the system, even as a scrub, keep your mind right, and graduate...you are taken care for through school and for life. That nikka wasn't getting drafted regardless. Especially after leaving early and having below average measurables on top of that, I totally believe that part was made up. I will say that the more I gear about chizik and trooper taylor the happier I am that they are gone. There is shyt that went on that directly contributed to the season they had last year. From michael dyer damn near losing his mind, to 4 players robbing people. That's the bigger story imo, and that starts from the top(a.d.) down.
