Klay already got his contract, they'll max out Draymond, and they won't let Barnes walk.

As long as they keep Curry, Klay, Dray and Barnes together they can mix and match the rest of the pieces.
If they keep Barnes they have to let go of bogut eventually. That could hurt them long term.

Barnes isn't getting a max deal from anyone :wtf: :dead: He's not due for an extension until after next season and he'll be a restricted free agent ontop of that. What are you talking about? If Green gets a max they will have $42 million between Curry, Klay and Green, Curry's contract doesn't expire until 2017, and he'll get the new max when that comes around while Green and Klay are on the old max ($15 million per season each).

Bogut is locked up until 2017, and when his contract is up he'll be 33, they are going to look for his replacement (draft) in the next year or two. The core of that team is the most important thing, it's Curry, Klay, Barnes and Green, everyone else is replaceable.
TF?

you acting like its easy to find a quality 7 footer in this league.
They get rid of bogut and they'll be just as likely to spend the rest of curry's prime as an undersized team.
If I was them I'd offer a decent bid on Barnes but if he asks too much I'd go with iggy.
Same thing happened with the thunder except Barnes ain't gonna be like harden.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

30 million for Curry when he is eligible, again what's the number for Barnes, you think teams wont raise the price for Barnes just like Detroit and Houston will for Draymond, again Draymond is getting a max deal but somehow Barnes won't get close to that according to you, ok. I don't care about GS and if they will be broke.

He's not due to get $30 million, the current max projection for 10 year veterans would be $28 million, he won't be a 10 year vet when he's up for his extension. LeBron/KD will be eligible to receive 35% of team salary, Curry will be eligible for 30%.

Because Draymond is a unique player, there's really nobody else like him in the league right now and teams with big defensive centers will pay to get him for spacing and defense. Barnes is not on the same level as him, he's a standard SF, and he's going to be more valuable to the Warriors than he would be to other teams.

Bogut is going to be 33 turning 34 when his contract is up, which is right around the time Barnes new contract would kick in.

:wtf:

Bogut doesn't have many years left in his career, by the time Barnes is up for his contract Iguodala will be 34......

They have to find a replacement for Bogut in the next year or two, this is the healthiest he's been in ages, and you can't rely on that moving forward.

Who?
Realistically bogut will still be the best bigman they can get when he's 33/34.

Someone in the draft, they have done an excellent job building from the draft and I'd expect them to draft a 5 this year or next :yeshrug:

If Robert Upshaw is still on the board at 30, I'd expect them to take him.

They not getting anyone as good as a 40 year old bogut in the draft much less a 34 year old one.
Plus the Warriors will not be willing to pay Barnes as much as other teams will, so unless Barnes decides to stay out of loyalty he will be getting overpaid by some overzealous GM Just chandler parsons and Jeremy Lin etc.
The warrior aren't going use up their cap space on solely perimeter players, that would not make sense. You got Klay and curry as your core. Common logic would be to look for a big to round what you can do.

I said that. David Lee is the highest paid player, and he barely gets playing time. Their window is one that's never been seen. Everyone overachieving. Their role players have emerged as star players, and their star players are now role players. Iggy/Lee/Livingston are all starters anywhere else. They gotta win now.

exactly...no way the warriors play this well next year...

all of these cats outside of curry are overachieving this year so much its crazy

they have to win this year

We could've had Gobert in the 2013 draft but we traded down and drafted Nedovic:beli:

I would let Barnes go if I was them...unless he accepts midlevel salary

He's a good player but he probably wants a bigger role and pay.

After this year they will be able to get a lot of cheap veterans
