I have two rescue dogs and one shelter cat. I don't usually take them to the park or walk them. but we have a big fenced in back yard that they can run around in all they want so that's what I do for the most part. to be honest, usually they be wanting to come back in the house after 10 minutes outside. when you have more than one dog, they tend to entertain themselves and not be as reliant on you for amusement. but with me working at home, they are with me all day long, so I'm sure they like having a human companion with them all day.

cat isn't allowed to go outside, cuz he is declawed and would get murdered by another cat out there.

Yea my dogs love our yard. We just let them out whenever they see a rabbit or squirrel or whatever. My dachshund went from 17lbs down to 11 in like 2 months

Mine is a purebred. She is a little demon. My other dog is some kind of whippet Jack Russel mutt. I think she has some boxer in her too.

Am I wrong for this?

We live in a house now and my wife has her dog living with us. He's big and old. Can't do shyt (legs all fukked up, we can't afford to take him to the vet) and runs away from me any time I get near him (I've known this dog for 8 years and he's still scared). I want to get my own dog cause I never got to have one growing up. My chick is saying no cause it's gonna make him feel bad but he's not my dog why should I care.

even if u got a big ass yard.. shyt gets boring, i walk my big bytch for at least 2 miles a day in different routes. i read its healthy for their brains and shyt to see and smell new things instead of the same shyt day in and day out
plus it's mutually beneficial. i get decent exercise out of it, the dog does too and it takes its massive shyts outside instead of the yard so no pick up.
my dog is banned from the dog park after it whipped some dogs asses that attacked it 2 years ago
