I hate people who get dogs and don't socialize with them, be it walks, playing with them, or giving them the daily pat on the head.
If you know you're too busy or you don't care, let someone else make that purchase.
Dog left to its own devices until feeding time. Chained up the backyard or outright forgotten. Everytime I've interacted w/ dogs like that, they've damn near been ADHD.
So excited to finally have someone acknowledging their existence, that they literally can't be still.
The worse is when you finally walk away, they start crying because they're back to solitude.
Dogs are social creatures much like most of us are. If you don't have the time to spare, you shouldn't be a dog owner.

its a boy and a girl and all they do is lick all over each other and sniff each others reproductive tool and piss and shyt everywhere plus they stink

I know they say first impression is everything but that whole experience left me not liking pugs.

You feed it, you wash it, you gotta handle its shyt, its a total money sink. Not like its a kid where eventually that kid will grow up and be self sufficient(hopefully). That thing is gonna be dependent on you from cradle to the grave. The most you play with it is 10-20 mins a day, tops.

Ive had two friends asking me to watch their dog / cat. Now I help damn near everybody, but naaaahhh. The dog owner said I could stay in her apartment, still hit her with the . But having a pet is just animal slavery.

No it isn't. My cat was a stray who kept coming to my house for food and me being a mug always gave him it. I leave my windows open a lot so he started coming in, never left, we bought him dishes and a bed and now he's our pet.

If anything he's taking advantage of me.
