I mean TBF...WWE buying AAA like in the 90s would have been kinda making dope moves.

AAA in 2025 :francis: . shyt like letting Big Meech hop on a hip hop track in modern time.

You know how, when legends and old wrestlers appear at shows, they usually put older pictures of them in the ads?

Not AAA. Look at Negro Casas. Necromancy brought him back from the dead.

Great Kojika wrestled last week at 83 years old :mjlol: I have no idea how the Japanese government hasn't intervened. That old ass jreh is as insane as Dory Funk :bryan:

Casas still got like 2 more decades in him if they let him

fukk speaking of Dory, that guy needed help standing up at the HOF, but was in a DOUBLE HELL CURRENT EXPLOSION DEATH MATCH in August of 2024. Ishiba needs to get an executive order to make that shyt illegal :damn:

My understanding of AAA as a traditional lucha company is that in the late 90s they were ECW through a lucha lens, in the 00s into mid 10s they were absolute worst TNA through a lucha lens, and since then it's been a mix of both but somehow worse. All I know for sure about AAA is anytime I've checked out something that is airing on all those free tv services is some of the most absolute dogshyt production and working I've ever seen. It doesn't seem hard to understand why it has been in dire straights financially. On some Global Force shyt.

CMLL is like the Mexican New Japan

AAA was founded to be the more modern, sports entertainment version of wrestling.

Which is funny when WWE says they want to maintain it as a traditional Lucha libre company. WWE doesn’t know a single fukking thing about how to run a “traditional” wrestling company. That’s been the antithesis of what WWE stands for like 40+ years.

AAA has never has been traditional lucha libre, it never wanted to be that. That’s how it got hugely popular, but that’s also how it went to complete shyt.
