Microsoft has owned Minecraft for 11 years and it still continues to sell. They've even dropped different versions of Minecraft that have sold. Even if you only went by when Microsoft purchased it, it would still be on the ATG seller's list.

You guys keep hyping up Sony and their games but there isn't a single Sony exclusive that is on the ATG sellers list. If they were so great, they would be on the list.

You're thinking about this all wrong. Microsoft's objective was never to simply be the #1 console player. They came into the console market and found some success and their first move was to try and expand beyond it. It was always how can we leverage this into something beyond it. In hindsight they didn't achieve those goals but the plan was never to just be the #1 player and that's it because if it was what you're talking about is the sensible path. They're the wide open WR whose eyes were in the end zone before they even caught the pass and ended up dropping the ball.

So when it was known that the PS4 was technically better than the Xbox One.
