A Chronological journey into the XBot spin:

1. Hardware/performance doesn't matter. Who cares about the hardware when you have the cloud? (Remember when Forza physics were only possible with the cloud? Go to PSN and tell me what game you find there.)
2. Exclusive games don't matter. Who buys consoles for the exclusives?
3. Console sales don't matter. Why buy consoles anymore when you can play the same game everywhere?
4. Video game sales don't matter. Why buy games when you can rent them?
5. Price increases don't matter. What ya'll don't have $10 more dollars a month?
6. Retail space doesn't matter. Who even goes to stores anymore?

I'm telling you. We're almost there. Give it a year or two max and we'll be able to add:
7. Microsoft no longer making Xbox consoles doesn't matter. Why don't you have a PC? Can your PS6 open an excel spreadsheet?

Microsoft can pivot to selling organic canned beans and these nikkas would say "That was the plan all along! Microsoft knew the average consumer doesn't get enough fiber in their diet! Every can is an Xbox!"

There are post from me going back 5 or more years saying that as MS gameplan starts to develop, hardware sales will matter less and less to them. Yes they will matter but it's not going to be the overall metric for success.

Here we are in 2023, and hardware sales aren't their main metric for success

Nah you are doing your fake concern and FUD work as usual, saying hardware sales will matter less to them as their games are on more hardware devices doesn't mean they are going to go 3rd party.

It would be silly for hardware sells to be the main metric of success when you are actively trying to get your games playable on as many platforms as possible.

Honestly they shouldn’t even drop new hardware at this point. The Magnus is going to do ultra trash compared to its predecessors. If they ain’t going to heavily invest into gaming studios to bring quality software another console won’t save you especially since their motto is play everywhere. They just need to go full third party and just focus on games and if third party pc makers want to use the Xbox brand then license it for hardware. Ain’t no point in bleeding money with hardware that no one will give a fukk about.

Microsoft just need to keep it real and tell their stans we ain’t making fukking console anymore and if you want play our games either get a PC or a PlayStation console and we will continue to release games on the series consoles for the forseeable future. With that being said we ain’t doing no next gen consoles after this.
