This movie was not that bad at all....

The fight scenes were actually impressive and the story was pretty straightforward


I wanted to hate but honestly for their last film it was decent

Pretty much this.

Had Storm (one of thee most powerful mutants low key) get handled easily most of the flick. Storyline was wrong/trash too

It's bad when I'm lowkey trying to decide between seeing this of Dem Pets 2. I mean, I'm marvel-gang affiliated, but yeah the X-men be havin like . MCU should just pick up a couple people like Rogue and Storm, and bush the rest of the xmen. And get all the x-men villains and dem Shiars for some Gladiator fukkery.

Well she kicked ass in this one...I liked it. The dialogue wasnt as quotable as the past ones but Jean got to look good throughout and still be what she was meant to be.

just came back from watchin it...i liked it!....i went in with full hate and ready to criticize but i think they did a good job with this storyline...u just have to let go of the old xmen generation (halle berry...hugh jackman) and let this new one cook....i'm hardcore when watchin these movies and seein how close they stick to the comic book script...but for once I sat back and enjoyed the action....they played out the Phoenix' vast powers nicely.....Logan should have been there and the time line is all the way off but it was watchable and entertaining....

Because of the people here are fans of the comics, so they are more lenient. From a strictly cinematic perspective, this shyt was below average.

Watched the bootleg of this yesterday and came away with no strong feelings about the movie. Literally just an average X-men flick. Not terrible, but not good either.

This movie was incredibly bland. I wonder if the people who have praise for this outside of some decent looking action shots in the third act have ever heard of replay value, because I am one thousand percent sure this movie has none.

*characters talk a whole lotta nothing*
*Jean throws a hissy fit because people talk too much*
*someone is hurt by the hissy fit*
*Jean cries about how nobody can help her, and runs off to a different location where more people talk*

Repeat this scenario 4 to 5 times and you have roughly 70% of this movie. There is zero forward momentum, it just stalls and it stalls while the villains willingly act as bullet sponges and Storm somehow has trouble fighting a guy whose hair is a whip despite being able to fly and having numerous weather related powers she could freely use from any distance that is not within the reach of this dude's hair.
