Xbox E3 2019 Briefing (June 9th at 4PM EST)

I didn't see a Last of us or a God of War or a Persona 5 or Horizon Zero Dawn or death stranding. They've had all this time to come up with a blockbuster title and still nothing. I really don't get it with Xbox. They're still resorting to gimmick second hand shyt. Phantasy star online 2 is great, but why was that the biggest reveal? Thats not an Xbox studios exclusive. I'm just confused on what they're doing. Everyone wants a single player AAA story driven title, and they still have nothing. What was their last.major AAA title release? Halo 5? That pirate game and crackdown flopped. State of decay 2 wasn't received very well (I still want to get.it though. Loved the first one). I mean...what the fukk are they doing? Their main emphasis is on game pass...which is cool, but that's not what gamers are asking for. Game pass does well, to be fair, but subscription service shouldn't be your main selling point for copping a system.

I went into this thinking Xbox will allow me to eat in the future...yet, multiples titles became available for free on the game pass available today which is icing on the cake.

Let's not talk about Gears, Halo and Forza...

Even though they are relevant games to consider when thinking about the positive direction they are going...

People who buy into the Xbox ecosystem will get crazy access to what's available on gamer pass.

Crossfire which seems to be a popular PC game that will take off like PUBG before it's available to other consoles.

Breh honestly, can you honestly with a straight face pretend that God of War, the one that came out last year to rave reviews and reception by gamers on PS4 can be criticized as "more God of War?" the same way someone seeing Gears of War 3, 4 and 5 as more of the same?

Someone who don't really follow games could immediately see that both games look vastly different from each other in many ways with gameplay being obviously different.

Now compare that to Gears

I'm sure you didn't realize but Persona has been around for TWENTY years. The last mainline one came out in 2016(2017 for US).

How long has Grease been around for? 13 years.

The point being that even though Sony may have 1 or 2 IPs that's been around for some years, they switch it up after some time plus they make NEW ones.

We didn't have any Horizon Zero Dawn, Dreams or Knacks, the Order 1886s or Spider-Man(from Insomniac) last gen. So it's a difference.
