Xbox E3 2019 Briefing (June 9th at 4PM EST)

First off, Halo, Gears, Forza.

I'm looking forward to Gears. The others not so much even though they're enjoyable.

12 minutes looked interesting. I am going to get this.

I honestly don't think anything else sparked my interest as far as gaming. No great swansong to end the generation.

Microsoft just bought 13 studios and yall think they will have something to show now???

Fanboys take it easy titles like Uncharted etc.. doesn't happen overnight but take years to develop. Microsoft already stated that they fukked up this generation regarding first party titles. Those 14 studios are legit and they also hired individuals from Sony prestigious studios.

Give them some time as they have the resources to compete. Overall chill with the fanboy shyt because just before PS4 Sony was going out of business

Building on my earlier post, Microsoft has 15 studios for gaming now.

No shows include rare, playground games. I don't count dlc for a game as a presence. We know that they are doing fable for next gen games.

No turn 10, no compulsion games, no inXile entertainment either. Microsoft will be fine. Not every game is going to be a hit but the exclusives from them will be plentiful.

A lot of us still gonna play more multiplats regardless of the system and I can’t see myself playing these games on an inferior system and I’m cool with whatever Exclusive Xbox gonna release down the line.

Already can’t wait for Halo and Gears cuz it’s been way toooo long for those games and I got 58 other games at my disposal on top of so many other.

I mean if you completely ignore the fact that PS5 will undoubtedly build on the extensive and wide variety of true system exclusives then I can probably see your point but that's not true is it? I think the big divider in opinions between both Xbox and PS fans is Xbox fans pretend they don't know why someone who gets a PS console each gen does it. I mean, when we say exclusives, we mean it.

I didn't even include any remasters or PS4/PC games and also there's a few I didn't cop yet(Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza etc.)

Then we still have FFVII Remake, Dreams(which technically is out right now early access), Death Stranding, Ghost of Tushima and finally TLOU Part II.

How can someone pretend there's no reason for those games alone to cop a PS4 for? So in Sony fashion this is what they do every gen. Notice how there's a WIDE variety of games there.

Contrast that with Xbox and here's the titles that as of right now you NEED an Xbox to play them on:
Halo 5 (campaign. MP is on PC with server browser technically)
Forza 5

Again, with MSFT moving all their games to PC and even tinkering with Switch, Xbox is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things when it comes to being a MUST HAVE console especially with PC gaming increasing in popularity. Now this doesn't mean you can't enjoy or buy Xbox but y'all can't act shocked nobody is that hyped for Xbox like that.

Power wise they’ll be very close again this gen so it’ll come down like it always has to who has the exciting exclusives and I think we all know the answer to that

Microsoft has the most powerful console on the market right now and it still don't mean shyt. Sony has years of developing talent at there studios and because of this people know sony will bring great exclusive content. Microsoft is kind of just starting to expand from the the halo's, forzas' and gears so it's going to take them time to find the next big franchise for them. Power holds weight but not as much as games.

Ok, here's my question:

What the fukk we're they doing while they were in the process of acquiring these studios? . It makes no sense that they weren't cooking something up. Seriously this gen for them has been incredibly weak. You'd think they'd put their efforts into righting the ship while doing the other stuff. Maybe they were, but so far there isn't any evidence of that...not even rumors. Oh wait, that's right, they were working on crackdown 3 and sea of thieves and state of decay 2 .

This just points to their main focus being gamepass. I don't believe for a second that their main focus is making AAA exclusives.

This is the same company that went all in on fukking PUBG, only for it to be bugged out and irrelevant by the time Microsoft put it out on Xbox one . And then sony still got it and by then it was cleaned up

Time.will tell.man...but I've said for years that Phil was a fukking hack, and nothing so far has changed my.mind about that.

I didn't expect them to go all out at the end of a gen. Mostly they did what they needed to do, announced Project Scarlet and gave some release dates. I was surprised at the lack of gameplay footage between both Xbox and Bethesda. I only really remember Doom Eternal having actual gameplay and that was at the very end yesterday.

You are not the norm. Most console gamers are budget gamers and either play nothing but the Big triple A games and get a ps4 for that, or play nothing cheap and mostly multi plat games and like there sports, shooters and racing games get an xbox for that.

I play alot of games also and I haven't touched more even half that list, mostly because it doesn't grab me. But the list I posted I have play most of. No one is looking at that list for 80 percent of those games and going OHHH I gotta get a ps4 for this, just like yall ignored 80 percent of the exclusives at e3 looking for Triple AAA big budget game.

Xbox is fine, and with all the companies they have now how they setting up streaming, how they locking in console gaming and pc gaming they are setting up for a check mate in the future. And there model is what I look froward to
