What's the best JRPG? Dragon Quest 11 seems boring af in the beginning, whereas Octopath is hitting. But I heard Octopath is bad by mid game and Dragon Quest gets better?

You are literally spot on with the comparison. Dragon Quest gets better once you get to act 2, Octopath starts to drag about halfway in the middle of act 2.
Thoughts?
I like it. Its kind of a city/sim management game. Have to balance budgets/finances.
There is a diplomacy structure that seems to be identical to Age of Empires/Civilization.
Build relationships with other mafia organizations through trade, favors and support through war.
Have to expand the business through takeover of rackets. Its based on prohibition so alcohol and speakeasy is the name of the game.

about to download the plagues tale joint and sniper elite 4 and came across haven...one of those games where it’s like I want to take a chance and play it but I’m definitely not gonna buy it and now it’s on game pass...problem solved...this shyt already paid for itself and I’ve barely had it for 3 weeks
