Oh I'm hip, looking to do the 3yr re-up via my girls account. Recently you was talking about how you did it with the Brazil account thing. I'm willing to pay for the American version of that to avoid any possible future obstacles. Just sorta waiting for confirmation that I can still do that and I'm on it.

I feel like I gotta make it happen ASAP before they get rid of gold. Cuz gamepass but itself will likely be more expensive than this method

Ya, the one dollar upgrade path still works as of now. Load up that 3 years of gold on your girls account n hit that 1 dollar gamepass conversion.

they did end the 1 dollar for 3 months promo so unless you wanna pay a dollar a month for one month of gamepass n make new accts every month might as well just do the 3 year deal.

I found a pile of 24 month Xbox Live Gold cards at Sams Club for $93. Insane. A damn year cost $60 alone. I bought one and a year card for about $151 combined. Now to convert it to Game Pass.

3 years. 1 24 month card and 1 12 month card. I wish I could have done 2 24 month cards but the conversion ends at 3 years.

I bought the cards in the Sam's Club store. I just did the conversion. Comes to an average of $4.22 a month for 36 months.

I looked online and the 24 month cards aren't there. I guess you can only get them in the store.

Besides the conversion trick, does Game Pass go on sale usually throughout the year? I usually snag a years worth PS+ for cheap when it dips in price around the holiday times.

You're never gonna beat that conversion trick. Getting Ultimate for $4 and some change a month is the best you're gonna do. Xbox Gold doesn't usually get as cheap anymore. The cheapest I see it go is usually $50 now on Newegg. I've gotten PSN for closer to $20 for a year.

If I already have used the $1 Ultimate deal for a month, can I still use the conversion trick with my account or would I need to set up a different Microsoft account?

New account/gamertag. Then that account when logged in gets all the promotions and if you get gold then you'll have the option of upgrading that account.

Maybe you could still get your time converted if only a month? But by theory it shouldn't work for you but I suspect it might if only a month was used. Do you wanna lose a year to find out? Safe bet, start a new tag because you can still use your old one to play

From what I understand if you completely let Game Pass lapse it will do it again. It only works when you upgrade to Game Pass from a non-membership.

I was gonna get that and activate a side account but I didn't turn off auto renew (I actually did 2yrs ago but that's another rant) so I paid 15. I'm in the same boat, need to re-up. Where are you getting your gold sub from? cdkeys.com usually will have the best deals
