That's you trying to turn it into all or nothing.
The only "parity" clause that exists is solely about release date. Not performance as you said it does.
I never stated the only clause was for performance. You denied having any all together and are now backpedaling, as seen here.
No they do not. You are making this up, its just not true. Plenty of games have released with different specs and different content.
And I already said not all of them do this.
It has nothing to do with exclusive content. It just states that it you are gonna get a free dev kit and be allowed to self publsish then the game needs to come out on Xbox first or at the same time as other platforms. Again has nothing to do with PERFROMANCE. Which is what this thread and our conversation was about.
I said there were clauses instilled to keep the gaps closed with certain games.

I said Microsoft isn't closing performance on the clocks level.

Your pieces don't fit Meach. Lying is mandatory for you breh?
Yes they have.
Destiny and Diablo. Same resolution, very similar framerate.
GTA V. Same resolution, More foliage on PS4, better framerate on Xbox.
Assasins creed. Same resolution, better framerate on Xbox
COD. Higher resolution on PS4, better framerate on Xbox.
So you tell me, which recent game shows this "huge" difference you keep speaking of?
The resolution and graphical fidelity that goes beyond "foliage". I don't expect the man who said 30fps vs 60fps isn't important to see.
GTA5 XB1 build struggles on particle effects and has less world details.
Dragon Age has better graphics quality again, higher resolution again, and overall drops one or two frames under during really intense scenes. PS4 build runs just as good as XB1 at a higher resolution and better graphics.
CoD has better details and resolution. PS4 build runs just as good as XB1 at a higher resolution and better graphics.
Diablo III ran just fine for release at 1080p for PS4 but developers had ti find more ways to get it working as good for XB1.
Metal Gear runs 1080p PS4, paltry 720p XB1. Both builds run near identical frame rate wise.
Tomb Raider ran both on 1080p but the PS4 build had a far better framerate.
Asassin's Creed is a bugfest on all platforms and isn't worth discussing.
Yeah you did. Why even bring it up?
I didn't deflect and I'm still not. You're harping on miniscule things because you lack thee evidence.
That's exactly in line with what the hardware specs suggest. Better CPU in Xbox, better GPU in ps4. Neither is a "huge" or "significant" difference as you claimed.
One, you've consistently denied what I said regarding hardware specs. Two, the CPU isn't better, just a useless clock boost. The PS4 GPU is leagues ahead of the XB1 and, again, is something you won't surmount by raising clocks. the RAM in the PS4 is leagues ahead of the XB1 and, again, is something you won't surmount by raising clocks.
You made it up, there's nothing to dispute.
Yup, as you make up lies
Please provide the specifications of both consoles that refutes my statements Meach. Please find it. Prove me wrong.
No framerate and resolution aren't always directly related. If a game is CPU bound, lowering the resolution won't change anything.
I know you're dumb but sheesh you really know nothing about hardware do you? This is just flat out wrong.
Yes it would. No two systems will perform EXACTLY the same for a multitude of reasons before we even talk about tech specs. Had you read the article in the OP and/or the documents they pulled their info from you'd understand that.
I know they won't perform the same. The PS4 is superior.
From jump devs have said they are similar. The performance of games proves that to be the case. PS3 and 360 were much further apart in terms of power and capability.
The only thing the games have proven are that the PS4 runs games as good as XB1 with better graphics and a higher resolution.
Yes it is. Show me a dev saying there is a huge difference between the machines. I can show you a bunch that say its very similar.
And I can show you a bunch saying the PS4 is better. The difference? The internal hardware comparison states the PS4 is better. Try and refute that.
Yes, in the same way a Focus is "superior" to a Camry
Car analogies don't work here.
Now to reiterate my first point before Meach came in here with his Microsoft tutu, these performance "boosters" Microsoft keeps shelling out won't close the hardware gap. PS4 is too fast, too strong.
