Brotha. Nah. Lol. A 2080ti is $1400. By itself. Let’s be realistic. Lol
Obviously Microsoft and Sony aren't getting their GPU's from Nvidia but when you're selling parts in the millions, you have significantly
more bargaining power. You can haggle down something that's more expensive because they know they'll make more money
off of that one GPU being sold to Microsoft/Sony to manufacture than they normally would for the lifetime of that product.
The 7800 GTX launched at $600 the year prior to the Ps3's release.
The Price of Ps3 at launch was $600 (which was expensive for the time)
was considerably cheaper than an equivalent PC would've been at that time.
The Xbox One X was meant to match a PC which would've caused roughly $1100 at the time of it's release
and it offered great performance for a considerably lower price.
I suspect the same thing will happen with Xbox Series X, especially if they could go wild with the B.O.M.
**I saw that to say, it could probably offer very good performance at a considerable bargain and I'll likely wait
until we get actual performance metrics from the console, it could surprise a lot of people at release.
