I know it's wild and hard to believe but people don't be going nuts over exclusives outside of the internet and people hanging around in game stores
Nintendo drops 9 outta 10 exclusives multiple times a year and they don't even get brought up in exclusive talks.
It's about playing with friends, and playing at a value for most of the world
Month and month and year after year the games that sell the most are multiplay multiplat games with exclusives sprinkled in for a couple months here and there.... Not Horzion, Detroit, Spiderman Last of us or whatever other exclusive you want to bring into it. Those aren't 10 or 12 or 36 months in top 10 sales like Grand theft or assassins creed.
This silly narrative that xbox players have nothing to play is just that.
A lot of the stans in this thread probably only played FF7 and Last of us 2 this year... but you can't tell them they haven't experienced the pinnacle of gaming just off those alone.

the games that got the most burn this gen for me were GTAV and 2k...both were more fun playing with friends on xbox...I owned GTA on both current gen consoles
in particular I like the activity feed and how it’s set up on xbox...it actually made me interested in what friends were playing and watching their game clips which was responsible for me buying games I wouldn’t otherwise be interested in...this can be done on the PS4 as well obviously but I prefer the way it’s set up on the xbox...it’s just more engaging

Downplaying the sony games is just childish and dikk rider at maximum levels,
all PS4 exclusives push console hardware to limit and so well proclaimed, the PC ports of them like Death Stranding run optimal on PC and deliver far better results on PC than the multiplat ports

The highest selling games of course would be the ones that come out for all consoles right? Thats just common sense.this would make sense if the results weren’t pretty much the same even when you list them by console (PS4/X1X only)
When looking at the highest selling PS4 games Its listed
1. GTA V (obviously)
2. Uncharted 4
3. Spiderman PS4
4. Witcher 3
5. God of War
three of those are exclusives.
Xbox One

don’t know where you copied and pasted that PS4 list from...but only 2 exclusives cracked the top 10 list for sony and none for the xbox which matches up with me saying your earlier statement would make sense IF the results weren’t pretty much the same when you break them down...but they are
