Definitely dumb as hell to do a rack for a PS6.
Casual console gamers don't care to compare it to PC Prices because they'd wanna shoot someone over PC Gaming rig prices. Yes the value is good, but hearing a rack for a Playstation ain't gonna cut it to the masses.
I wouldn't launch it till 2029 either at the earliest.
Many of the price increases haven't even taken effect from last week either. How you gonna sell a PS6 at 700 if the Pro is 900? A 6 cheaper than PS5Pro? That doesn't even make sense.
All this gaming shyt about to be in for a rude awakening if these prices don't drop

I just turned a leftover Android phone into a retro gaming emulator with like thousands of games I rather that than these clunky long ass games.

I think 700 is my limit and even then it's gotta be a console that also plays PC games. Otherwise I would be better off putting some extra with it and building myself a PC that I can future proof. Xbox has a good idea but I need to see the execution, otherwise I'll be going PC or just keeping my Xbox and PS5 for a long time and just exiting the gaming space altogether.

It'll probably be $1k, given ram and ssd prices. AI Is ruining everything. I'm so glad a bought my pc before all this shyt. I still spent $11k on it, but it has the best of the best in it, all water-cooled. It would probably cost $13k to $14k now. PC gaming at the top end is very expensive.
Indeed, unfortunately. Xbox shouldve been spun off. Microsoft's focus is too split and driving the fukk out the division in order to pull profit from it without really caring about video games as a product was bound to produce this result.
With MS in this positon and nintendo further rotting, Sony has no one to keep them in check besides Steam tertially.
