now see your situation is the one that i want to be in. im with a single mother and i hate the fact that everytime her kids need something they ask me. im not trying to be mean but when you need something like sneakers or even money for a field trip. whats wrong with calling your dad to ask him? same thing for birthdays and christmas. i told my now wife a few months ago listen ill do what i can for the boys. but im not financially responsible for them. when its time to pay for college or buy a car. i feel that you and their dad should handle that. i can tell you that dating a single mother is a good thing. but for me, once you have your own child. its nothing like it. my wife would be real petty about stuff though. like for christmas, making sure everyone got an equal number of presents. even though when its different ages you cant do that. or she would get mad cause i would post pictures of my daughter and not her boys. i feel like i do enough man paying rent, food on the table, helping with homework, going to parent teacher conferences. all that stuff.

Nothing wrong with the way you are feeling, but you married her, so you gotta expect her to see everything as a Full unit, and not a "well those aren't my kids", that shyt went out the window when you said I do.
