To be honest, I don't know if I could wife a single mother. Not saying there is anything wrong with single mothers and their child/children, I just feel like I'm not obligated to take care of another man seeds who are not my own. Since I'm only 27, maybe my mentality on this matter would change in the near future when I come face-to-face with this situation.

but that shouldn't exempt the dad from helping out. I don't see whats wrong with asking the dad when something is needed. he may say no but then again he may not. just because you pay child support doesn't mean you cant help out with other things

Is that a problem? I never said anyone had to date single mothers and I don't judge anyone for not wanting to date them. But I wouldn't say someone that dates short men, single fathers, or a man that makes less than them is settling just because it's not something I would do. If that's what they like then that's what they like.
