yea, but let's not pretend like that Dream Team were not facing the international competition the US squad are facing now. The international players are much better, athletic, faster, and better at everything now than they were back than, so just saying that is just ducktales. The Dream Team were much more athletic and faster than the international competition back than, now this year's squad is much more faster and athletic than them, this year's squad blows the Dream Team in the athleticism and speed department, which would cause the Dream Team problems, but I still think rebounding is and would be the deciding factor, which is the Dream Team's advantage, so they would beat em. Even though it was an exhibition game, this Olympic squad had troubling rebounding, they had to tip the ball and jump to get it due to how undersized the bigs are, which is why Spain will be a challenge for the US, and Brazil will cause some problems too, and the best rebounder on the squad is who, Melo? From 1,2, and 3 standpoint they are close to even, from a 4 and 5 standpoint is where the gap lies. Scottie Pippen is right, the 92 dream team would beat todays team, maybe not quite by 25, but it's a double digit loss easy. Remember, the fukking Mailman (Karl Malone) almost didn't make the team as a backup, and David Robinson in his prime is virtually unstoppable. Peole forgot Chris Mullen was maybe the weakest player on that team and he was shooting 52% from the field and avg 20 points a game in 92 so yea. Kobe might need to just chill with that. Ok, let's think about something here. The 92 team beat Croatia both games by 30 points. So if anyone truly believes that this 2012 team would lose by just about the same amount.....you have got to be shytting me! To me, it would be a close game, and the points have been laid out numerous times on here. Yes, the 92 team's biggest advantage is at center, while the 2012's best advantage is with the quickness on the perimeter. We saw Bobby Hurley running circles around Magic in that documentary, and everybody knows at that stage Magic wouldn't stop those guards from penetrating. I'm sorry, I have to laugh when people think Pippen would just "shut down" Kobe or Bron like it's just that easy to shut down two of the greatest scorers of all time. This is just silly. As if the Dream Team was out to beat those teams by as much as possible. As if they weren't coasting for most of those games. Put it this way, the only reason that the '92 team wouldn't beat this current team by 25 or more is because they'd coast during some parts of the game. This team has no presence inside. Chandler would be a non factor against that '92 frontcourt.
