I'd love for the Lions to trade for him. I think he can develop as a backup and perhaps become a starter one day. In a league where Sam Darnold, Mac Jones, and Daniel Jones are balling I can't say it's impossible. Maybe him being in a better situation with a good o-line, better weapons, and familiar faces (Lions got damn near 10 of his Bama teammates lol) will fix him.

This thing about going first as a QB is not always great for the QB.
Not seldom you are going to a broken organization and people are expecting you, inexperienced, to come in and save the the whole thing. Which consists of 100 moving parts. In other cases, sometimes all that's missing is a QB.
But other than that, seems like he's kinda mediocre, with little development. It's really an enigma how they keep on winning games. Smoked Atlanta, beat Packers, Cowboys etc. often with bad QB play
