Do you broke niqqas ever get tired of complaining that your handouts aren't coming fast enough? :mjtf:
You should take interest in this, I know you're a millionaire rich nikka flexing on the peons but these programs have great effect on the stock market(which you should be well versed in as a rich nikka), the price of various goods, and our economy overall.

All republicans and Manchin would block that

a direct quote from Manchin
I would gladly take a bill that paid the full amount of the unemployed’s weekly intake until the pandemic has ended.

But Republicans would think even that is too generous

I told a lot of people from the beginning that the Heroes Act and the $600 unemployment was nothing more than a political ploy in order to gain traction and win back the Senate. Politics is all about inspiring false hope and undelivering on exact promises knowing that it was unrealistic or never had a feasible chance of happening in the first place.

The fact that a lot of people still don't see that and even make excuses for politicians shows why they are perfectly fine and content with saying the things that they do. You can take what the government gives you while still mentioning and harping on how they didn't deliver on their exact promises. People do it on a daily basis, so I don't see why politicians get excused for their actions.

An example of it as I mentioned before is your job promising you that you will get your full 40 hours for the week, to only end up giving you 32 or less than that. You're going to take those 32 hours and still complaining on them not delivering right? Or a friend promising you that will pay you back in full and then not coming through or short changing you and not keeping to their word.

So why can't you do the same when it comes to politics and elected officials?

Its an embarrassment to this site that this dude is a mod and threads of this type just to troll.

I agree with you're saying, but he does have a point with this thread. For over a year, all of the talk was about how the Heroes Act wouldn't be passed and how we needed $600 or no deal at all. Now since that they are/will be in control, you hear neither of those talking points being brought up again.

You can use the fact that they are fully in power yet as an excuse, but you hear other talking points brought up and plans except the ones that they are harped on for a year.
