The fukk are you talking about? I've read this post twice and still can't make sense of it. You keep talking about a "good nikka vs bad nikka" narrative and I don't necessarily see it. That's why I'm asking if you just have a problem with them using two black athletes as examples of how to act and how not to act when dealing with the media. If the behavior of Cam and Russ isn't the central issue here, then what is?

The Yankee's using Cam's reaction to losing the SB as an example of how not to act while using Russ as an example of how you should act(in defeat) is perfectly valid. Now had they used a white QB as an example of how to act while using Cam as the example of how not to act then I'd see the racial undertones. Using two black qbs as examples of how to act and how not to act is fine tho. Again, Cam is is just as "safe" as Russ. Cam is not a threat at all and he proved that during SB week.

I think @NYC Rebel's claim is legitimate. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, etc have had walked away from games or press conferences -- and they are not used as examples of what players are not supposed to do. Only Newton is conveniently used. Id on't think the disparity is only down to venue and spectacle. I believe cacs are using Russ as a counterbalance of how they want blacks to act.

This is the way I see it also.
However, they're using these two as an example to all the Yankee players too, who I think are majority white? So they're saying to the white players to act like Russ also.
Don't get me wrong, I can see the possible undertones too, but are we assuming they're only targeting the Black players on the team with this message?
Is there a recent interview with a white QB losing the Super Bowl and throwing a tantrum where they can compare them with Russell's 'proper' reaction?
But I get it though, the timing seems very fishy.
