That's one of those moves nobody can complain about in hindsight. Everyone was wrong about hiring him. Fans gave him a standing O the first night like he was meant to do that job and Dolan stayed outta the way cuz that's what everyone wanted. I don't think anyone thought would turn out so bad except for those who knew Phil wasn't qualified for that job.

That shoulda been the plan.

The Clippers before they traded for Kawhi took on a first to take on Mo Harkless. Knicks shoulda been all over that. Brooklyn was taking on shyt deals just to get extra picks, and those picks turned into guys like Levert, Allen, Kurucs, etc.

The biggest issue I have in terms of player development is that they're too prideful to send guys like Frank and Knox to G-League when mentally it woulda done them some good.
